With the support of the UnternehmerTUM as well as the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, Newgate was founded in January 2022 and is based in the gate technology hub next to the TUM Campus in Garching. While the company itself is still young, the development of its technological groundwork was started as early as 2017.
